Measure the circumference of the subjects head from the Nasion to Inion to determine
the cap size
● 54-56 = Small
● 56-58 = Medium
● 58-60 = Large
Place the EEG cap in the bucket with saline solution for 10 minutes
While the cap soaks, measure and make a mark midpoint on the patient between the
Nasion-Inion and between Left and Right Auricular Points. Their intersection will be the
Vertex (Cz).
